General

The Tampa Club was founded in 1982. William MacInnes, founding Tampa Club Board member and former Chairman of the Board for both Exchange National Bank and TECO, was instrumental in the club's formation. Founding President Max Hollingsworth was followed by John Germany.

In 1987 the membership outgrew the original club and it was moved to the top two floors of the Bank of America building, where it currently resides. The Tampa Club was the first private club to be non-discriminating and is an independent, not for profit, member operated club, providing its members with a blend of prestige, fellowship and excellent amenities.

The club's 22104 square feet of interiors is Tampa's gathering place for business and pleasure.

It's elegant enough to impress your most discerning client but casual enough to make you feel at home.
